Book Review: This Time Next Year – Sophie Cousens

Have you read Sophie Cousens‘ debut romance novel, This Time Next Year, yet? I opened the pages of this brilliant, heart-warming and uplifting romantic-comedy recently and I feel all the better for it.

The story of London-based Minnie and Quinn evolves through flashback, from the time of their birth, to their approaching 31st birthdays. Cousens deftly handles the cast of real characters, flaws and all, and their timelines with confidence and emotion. One of the best contemporary stories I’ve read for a while, with a clear message to love the me before the we.

Out now in paperback and ebook. Would make a great gift for Christmas and Birthdays … any day of the week, actually.

Don’t wait until next year to read This Time Next Year.
